FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ largest third-party logistics provider (3PL), reinforced its commitment to supporting truck owners and aspiring transport entrepreneurs in Negros Occidental during the FAST Truckers Roadshow Bacolod held Wednesday, May 13, at L’Fisher Hotel.
The roadshow highlighted FAST’s programs designed to help truck owners manage rising operating costs, secure stable earnings, and grow their businesses amid increasing fuel prices and tighter operating margins.
During the event, FAST Solutions Experts presented opportunities for truck owners to join the FAST trucking network and access support initiatives such as guaranteed monthly income, passive earnings, fuel assistance, financing opportunities, and consistent trips serving some of the country’s biggest companies.
“FAST believes truckers are vital partners in moving businesses and communities forward. Through our support programs, we want to help truckers manage rising costs and grow their business with FAST serving as their ‘Big Brother’ partner in logistics,” said FAST Business Unit Head for Transport Operations (Inland, RoRo, Air Freight, and Sea Freight) Oli Encabo.
FAST also emphasized how its nationwide logistics network and more than five decades of experience in handling high-volume requirements for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies can help trucking partners gain access to stable and continuous business opportunities.
Supporting Truckers Amid Rising Operating Costs
The roadshow comes at a time when truck owners and operators are facing increasing fuel costs, tighter profit margins, and rising day-to-day operational expenses that directly affect profitability.
Among the key programs presented was FAST’s dry lease program, which allows truck owners to earn a fixed monthly income without having to manage or shoulder daily operational expenses.
Under the arrangement, truck owners lease their vehicles to FAST, while the company handles operational management and expenses, including fuel, driver and helper salaries, toll fees, repairs, and other related costs.
FAST also offers a lock-in program for truck owners who prefer to operate their own units. Accredited partners under the program are assured of a fixed or guaranteed monthly income even if their trucks complete fewer trips than expected within the month.
Truck owners who take on additional trips may earn beyond the guaranteed income, allowing them to maximize truck utilization and expand earning opportunities.
To help ease the burden of rising fuel costs, FAST also introduced its fuel assistance program, where the company shoulders upfront fuel expenses and deducts the amount from billing after completed trips, helping truckers better manage cash flow.
Members of the FAST trucking network may also access financing options that can help them acquire additional units and grow their businesses even amid challenging market conditions.
FAST also conducted on-site accreditation activities for interested truckers during the roadshow.

Growing with FAST: A Partner Success Story
Jupeth Peque, owner of L&G Land Transport Services, also shared during the event how his partnership with FAST helped him grow as a businessman while gaining more time with his family.
Jupeth said having his own trucking business gave him the opportunity to build a more stable livelihood and enjoy greater flexibility for his loved ones. With FAST as his growth partner, his business has expanded to a fleet of 17 vehicles composed of AUVs, 6-wheelers, forward trucks, and 10-wheelers.
“FAST helped make it happen,” he said. “Through our partnership, I was able to grow my fleet, create more opportunities for my business, and spend more meaningful time with my family.”

“Through the FAST trucking network, we want to create more sustainable opportunities for truck owners while helping them navigate operational challenges. Our goal is to build long-term partnerships that allow truckers to grow alongside FAST,” said FAST Transport Sourcing Head Nico Orallo.
Expanding the FAST Trucking Network

At the core of this network are FAST’s trucking partners, who play a vital role in ensuring that goods move reliably across islands, provinces, and communities. Aside from the FAST Truckers Roadshow, FAST also conducted on Wednesday the MSME Logistics Forum, organized in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Negros Occidental. The forum gathered local entrepreneurs and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to discuss how integrated logistics and supply chain solutions can help businesses expand market reach, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen supply chain resiliency.
FAST was also a sponsor of this year’s Visayas Area Business Conference (VABC), organized by the Metro Bacolod Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During the conference, FAST highlighted its integrated end-to-end logistics solutions and commitment to strengthening supply chain resilience for businesses across the Visayas.
