FAST Logistics Group, the Philippines’ largest third-party logistics provider (3PL), has strengthened its strategic partnership with global logistics tech leader FarEye and was recognized as Emerging Disruptor of the Year at the Last Mile Leaders APAC 2026 conference in Thailand.

The award was received by FAST CEO for Logistics Manuel L. Onrejas Jr. and Chief Information Officer Leo Sacamos Jr. during the three-day gathering of supply chain, logistics, and technology leaders from across the Asia-Pacific region, held from Wednesday to Friday, May 20 to 22, at the Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok.

The recognition highlights FAST’s ongoing digital transformation initiatives and its adoption of FarEye’s AI-powered logistics platform to modernize transport operations, improve delivery performance, and enhance supply chain visibility across the Philippines.

“We are grateful to FarEye for this recognition,” Manny said. “As a solutions-oriented and innovative organization with more than 50 years of leadership in Philippine logistics, our partnership with FarEye enables us to further strengthen our capabilities and deliver greater value to our customers through technology and innovation.”

In its citation, FarEye recognized FAST for acquiring 16 enterprise-grade modules and developing 10 hyper-localized workflows within the platform.

The technology provider also cited FAST’s extensive logistics network, which includes more than 3,100 trucks, over 900 trucking partners, and multimodal transport capabilities across land, RoRo, air, and sea. FAST also operates a nationwide network of more than 160 dry and cold-chain warehouses, with more than one million pallet positions and annual throughput reaching billions of units.

The award underscores FAST’s efforts to integrate advanced digital solutions into its operations while managing one of the largest and most comprehensive logistics networks in the country.

Accelerating AI-Powered Transport Operations

Earlier this year, FAST announced its transition from its in-house Transport Management System (TMS) to FarEye’s AI-powered delivery platform. The move aims to rapidly configure workflows through low-code customization and optimize operational costs while protecting logistics margins.

FAST also seeks to reduce delivery delays and improve service efficiency and improve visibility and responsiveness across nationwide operations with FarEye’s platform.

According to Leo, the shift is a critical step in modernizing FAST’s legacy infrastructure and building an agile, AI-native logistics ecosystem capable of managing more than one million shipments annually.

“The transition marks a new era of more agile transport operations within FAST,” Leo said. “While our in-house TMS has served us well over the years, the scale and complexity of today’s logistics environment require a platform that can evolve faster and deliver greater operational intelligence.”

FAST Logistics Group Chief Information Officer Leo Sacamos Jr. highlighted that FAST’s digital transformation is also about empowering its people to use these technologies effectively. During the panel discussion, he emphasized that AI should enhance—not replace—human capability, reinforcing FAST’s commitment to helping its employees adapt and grow alongside emerging technologies.

He added that adopting a proven platform such as FarEye allows FAST to accelerate its AI initiatives and focus more quickly on generating business value from emerging technologies.

The sessions explored the evolving realities of logistics operations, supply chain resilience, profitability challenges, and digital transformation strategies across the Asia-Pacific region.

FAST said its technology transformation strengthens its ability to support customers facing increasingly complex fulfillment requirements, faster delivery expectations, and rapidly changing supply chain conditions.

By leveraging AI-powered logistics solutions and modern systems, FAST continues to reinforce its commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and people-centered transformation in the Philippine logistics and supply chain. Connect with our Solutions Experts to learn more
